With Buck Owens riding a tide of hit singles and top selling albums, the time was right in 1965 to record his first Christmas album. Not content to re-do the same old holiday standbys, Buck and the band worked up a new batch of Christmas classics. Even the lone traditional song, "Jingle Bells," received a brand spanking new arrangement courtesy of Buckaroo Don Rich.
