Further evidence that wa-wa pedals should banned everywhere. Okay, Chrome Locust get some point being fans of Black Sabbath -blatantly ripping off the Paranoia album every now and then is a clear sign- and at least they don't have that metal-rap schitck that's spreading like the plague throughout the pre-millennium industry. But that's all these guys really have going for them; Chrome Locust just represent this boring 70's metal that was played out when that decade ended. They could have at least ripped off a little of AC/DC or Three Dog Night, sure it still would have been bad, but a least not as cheesy. ~ Mike DaRonco, All Music Guide
