Ciao My Shining Star: The Songs Of Mark Mulcahy

We're very proud to announce the release of Ciao My Shining Star: The Songs Of Mark Mulcahy, featuring songs from the Miracle Legion and Polaris front man. The compilation features versions of Mulcahy's music performed by some of today's greatest artists in tribute to the musician, whose wife died suddenly in September 2008. Proceeds from the sale of the album will go to Mulcahy to help him continue his music career while raising his three-year-old twin daughters. The compilation features 21 exclusive recordings by Thom Yorke, Michael Stipe, Dinosaur Jr., Mercury Rev, The National, Frank Black, Vic Chesnutt, Frank Turner and Josh Rouse, among others. In addition, a further 20 tracks, from artists such as A.C. Newman, Buffalo Tom and Laura Veirs, will be available digitally.
