VINYL FORMAT. The new avant disco outfit known as Hercules & Love Affair is the brainchild of NY resident and DJ Andrew Butler. It is one of the most inventive and original studio collaboration projects in some time, and the latest addition to the ever-growing and eclectic DFA family. Butler employs the talent of several notable guest contributors, such as vocalists (and sometimes DJ partner) Kim Anne Foxman and Antony (of Antony & The Johnsons), and co-producer Tim Goldsworthy of DFA.

Together, the two tracks bring forth what could be a new era of euphoric disco, truly original yet with subtle nods to its glittering past-- where beautiful, bruising harmonies and loose-limbed mechanic rhythms collide to create a utopian and hedonistic dance floor paradise.
