Collaborations

Collaborations is not your ordinary remix project. For instance, Deuterotype takes sound sources and inspiration from esteemed sound artist Alva.Noto (aka Noto/Carsten Nicolai of Raster Noton fame). The result is a funk drenched micro-techno gem, riddled with the explorations of alva.noto's Prototypes project. With an EP under his belt with Force Inc., Ohio based newcomer Geoff White goes into Sutekh's sound bank and outputs an ominous driver of a track that fills the room with layers of ambience and beats. Finally, fellow well known Bay Area producer Kit Clayton shared the studio with Sutekh to compose a selection of eclectic rhythms and patterns in a unique aural perspective. Collaborations delivers an enlightening statement throughout -- encouragement of a more progressive usage of sound sharing throughout electronic music.
