VINYL FORMAT. The second of two self-released 7" singles, the Color Divide/Natural Selection 7" was recorded in January of 2010 in Brooklyn's Saltlands studio. The A and B sides were recorded along with "Saturated," which appears as part of The Singles EP digital compilation, and as a bonus mp3 with purchase of this 7"!
Gray Goods is Ryan Brown, Austin Davila, and Trevor McGloughlin. The band began with Brown and Davila sketching out song ideas after the break up of Brooklyn three-piece Browns. They enlisted McGloughlin, a longtime friend of Brown's from San Diego and brother of Soft Pack guitarist Matt McGloughlin, to play drums on three songs recorded over the summer of 2009 to be released as part of 1928 Recordings' Golden Hour Box Set in December of that year. McGloughlin became a full time member soon thereafter and Gray Goods began writing material as a three piece in the fall.
