Concrete Blues is the second full-length release from The Revelations featuring Tre Williams, a follow-up to their critically acclaimed 2009 debut The Bleeding Edge. Like the last, this album is a daring hybrid of classic Memphis soul, modernist blues, and R&B. This album is divided into two "sides" thematically. The first deals primarily with contemporary social issues and the second with personal relationships.
This release also includes three bonus tracks culled from the band's debut album- "I Don't Want to Know," "Let's Straighten It Out," and "Everybody Knows" – all three of which were massive regional hits in the Deep South's Southern Soul and Blues scene over the last two years.
