2011, RVNG Intl.
VINYL FORMAT. Limited to only 500 copies! Bronze first came to our attention via astral-projectionist Alison Childs' Galaxie party, a transplanted version of her Donuts institution in San Francisco that dazzled NYC 2009 / parts of 2010. It almost only made sense that Bronze, a trio from the Bay Area, would make their NYC debut at a party co-piloted by Jacques Renault and Justin Miller. Their sound is wholly unholy to the disco, unless your dance fix is a concoction of dark, eerie, and fucked.
Though no one from RVNG actually witnessed the Bronze show in whatever frozen Brooklyn warehouse this jam went down, we obsessed over the oscillating frequencies, frenetic drumming, and maniacal invocations that sputtered from the sub suck bit-rate player Bronze's myspace. Hence began a year-long endeavor to release Copper.
