2009, Metropolis Records
Evil Cowards is the side project of Tyler Spencer of Electric Six. The debut by this NYC duo is catchy while bathing in the majesty of William Bates' (Fall On Your Sword) unique production.
Evil Clowns are a psycho-schizophrenic New Wave, pop-rock band comprised of Tyler Spencer (Dick Valentine of Detroit indie rock act Electric Six) and Englishman Will Bates (Fall On Your Sword, Steve Hackett, Mike and the Mechanics). The band's debut, Covered in Gas, is a danceable collection of tunes, odes to nonsense, and outrageous passions. Drawing similarities to Flight of the Conchords and Mike Patton, the album is a surreal adventure into the warped psyches of two gifted specimens of humanity.
