VINYL FORMAT. Recorded with Seattle mainstay Kurt Bloch (Fastbacks), Cracked Love and Other Drugs is a collection of beguiling and wonderfully varied tunes. Fifteen songs that conflict and compliment in just over twenty-five minutes - ricocheting between broken relationships, mock fatalist wink nodage, knucklehead party racket, absurd isolationist paranoia and open book love-letter sap-crap. This push and pull (along with great pop sensibilities and good old fashioned rock and roll KRAANG) is in the end what makes Cracked Love such an intriguing, appealing listen. This is the Hardly Art debut from the Seattle band.
