Crashkid Went There

The first 12" on Becalmed comes courtesy of Ckid, also known in Nuremberg as Rene Margraff. He's recorded six tracks of the nicest electronica you can imagine, combining programmed beats and synths with guitar, bass and melodica to produce a warm and playful sound full of melancholic melodies. This subtle and beautiful 12" is a heartfelt example of evocative experimental pop.
This is Ckid's debut after a remix for the German band The Flamingo Massacres. Future projects by Ckid include tracks on various compilations and remixes for Figurine and Giardini de Miro.
