Cream and Bastards Rise

This alt-pop quartet was formed in Seattle in 1994 and this release represents a dramatic change of musical direction. A piano-driven, classic pop sensibility reigns, and while the band's signature melodic knack remains fully charged, the lyrics point to a more sanguine, less-caustic perspective on the old themes of love, regret, and global politics. It also rocks. This EP features songs from the soon to be self-released album Little By Little. The band plays regularly throughout the Pacific Northwest and receives extensive airplay on both KNDD and KEXP.
