The Parties play music inspired by 60's bands like The Who, Kinks, and The Velvet Underground and modern bands inspired by the 60's like Teenage Fanclub, The High Dials, and Luna. For fans of The Charlatans, Ride, Spirea X, Outrageous Cherry and the Red Button. The Parties call San Francisco home, but have members from the East Coast as well as the Philippines. What unites them is a sheer love for 60's inspired jangly mod psych/power pop, which they serve up with a passion but grounded in the musical sensibilities of today.
