Curiosities?

First full length, and follow up to their impressive sold out debut CDep (un Peu de Moi) on Blackbean, Curiosities? features 12 tracks by this French husband and wife duo. Part of the album is culled from rare compilation tracks and covers (Felt, Wedding Present, Gainsbourg). As songwriter Michael puts it, "probably indiepop/twee, but there are some other colours too: some bossa, 60's pop, chanson francaise, electronic music...maybe you can hear the influence of 80's pop music, this cd looks in different directions, but pascale's sweet voice & the bass lines help make it sound not too heterogeneous". There are also 2 electronic instrumentals & some remarkable new songs recorded just for the CD, songs that are their most adventurous and lovely yet! The perfect release to maintain Blackbean's truly international profile and accentuate an expanding eclectic discography.
