2012, Glad I Did Recordings
Lost Lander is a project founded by songwriter/forester Matt Sheehy when he began work on a new album with producer Brent Knopf (of Menomena). The two often worked remotely – using the internet to communicate ideas – and from time to time they met at majestic spots on the Oregon coast to work in closer proximity. The result is a song-oriented pop album full of shiny synths and bombastic drums. The limited first edition features specialty packaging that unfolds into a home planetarium. Listeners will be able to use a flashlight to project song's constellations onto a darkened ceiling.
