RESTOCK. Austin's Western Keys make the kind of slow-and-tortured-yet-awfully-catchy-and-pretty indie rock that we all love so much. Western Keys is Ben Dickey, of Austin, Texas. Sometimes Western Keys is a fleshed-out band with drums, bass, cello, keyboards, pedal steel, etc. Sometimes it is just Ben, an acoustic guitar and a boombox playing a scratched / possibly-skipping disc with some drum beats. The Keys flesh out the twists and turns with whatever instumentation they need to. Think Bright Eyes, Modest Mouse, Japancakes, Matt Pond PA, Kingsbury Manx, etc.
