"Dan Sartain VS. The Serpientes" is the Swami debut for this 21-year-old Birmingham, Alabama heartthrob. He can croon with the best of them, but can really tear it up when he wants. His sound could be a fusion of HANK WILLIAMS and JONATHAN RICHMAN. Ramshackle basement recordings showcase revved up rock 'n' roll freak outs, jagged guitar wailing (think Voidoids meet Flat Duo Jets), smooth vocal melody, and Dan's uncanny ability to write truly memorable and exciting songs.
