Dandelion Day

Described by others as noise-rock, shoegazer, and even psychedelic, after releasing three critically admired full-length albums between 1998 and 2002 on their self-operated K.O.A. Records label, New York based band/recording-project Theselah was put on ice indefinitely. Blame geography! Not ready to see their hard work come to a premature end, singer/guitarists Joseph Kim and David Yang resolved to carry on as a new band, and thus, Kite Operations was formed in March of 2003. Joe enlisted the help of childhood friend Jie Whoon Kang, a classically trained bassist who quickly learned the ways of rock bass. Jie in turn brought his friend Sung Shin, an energetic and hard-hitting drummer.
