Dead

Houston's Rusted Shut has been at it in one form or another since 1986 at least. This record is the work of a band determined to work out some difficult shit, so bear witness. Dead is not for the faint of heart or those with weak kidneys. Don Walsh spins a negative vortex of such power that clothing, food wrappers and other loose items are easily sucked into its encompassing downer orbit. The music backing this maelstrom references hard rock superheroes with no sense of fidelity: The tinittus of Lemmy Kilmeister and the cochlea pain of GG Allin.
