VINYL FORMAT. Death-In-Life is the fifth album released in Matthew Friedbergers' 2011 six album series Solos. Death-In-Life was made with organ and Matt's vocals. Matt, a Rock-n-Roll musician and songwriter and Chicagoan, has released eight albums with the band he runs with his sister Eleanor, The Fiery Furnaces. Death-In-Life is all about the only wind instrument to feature in SOLOS, the organ--if you please. If it sometimes features ambient noise loud enough to 'rise the deaf' as we say that's only because it was sometimes recorded in large churches--or train stations.
