1994, Smells Like Records
Back in the early-90s heyday of post-Pavement indie-rock, this bi-coastal beefcake tandem taught us a thing or two about hook construction. Shoruded in secrecy, the band produced a string of releases recorded in their own Long Island bat-lair with drummer Corn.
debut album stacks up with the best indie-pop. Their follow up ep on Smells Like Records, Kings Of The Inland Empire, is out of print. The band went on to record a final album for the DGC label before retiring.
