If you are looking for a slick, highly produced recording, chances are you may not like this release. It says right on the cassette label "Recorded at New Jerusalem Recreation Room". So if you're into music for technology sake, better catch someone else's recordings. But if you want truly honest music, biblical lyrics that are done from the heart and songs with potential, then Lenny's Deep Calls to Deep is for you. Its loaded with 15 songs that range from ballads, to country, to up-tempo tunes which could even be done as rock. Lenny's philosophy is that melodies should be memorable and even hum-able and whistle-able. These songs would be equally comfortable in a church worship service environment or around a camp fire.
