Derealization

Derealization features the core duo of The Forms - Alex Tween and Matt Walsh - reinterpreting the songs from their first two highly acclaimed LPs, 2003's Icarus and 2007's The Forms. This album features collaborators Nat Baldwin of Dirty Projectors and Daniel Hart of St. Vincent on multiple tracks. The National's Matt Berninger also sings the opening track, "Fire to the Ground," while Andrew Thiboldeaux of Pattern Is Movement adds lead vocals on "Steady Hand," and "Finally" features a virtuoso vocal performance by Craig Wedren of Shudder to Think. Produced by Scott Solter (Superchunk, St. Vincent).
