Desperate Little Town (Reissue)

VINYL FORMAT. Desperate Little Town is a new album brought to you directly from the hearts of Holly Golightly(vocals/guitar), Dan Melchior (vocals/guitar) and Bruce Brand (drums). These three have played extensively together, both on record and out on tour, having notched up nearly 100 releases between them. It was homemade in a sporadic fashion, over many months during 1999-2000. This album is a mixture of originals and covers and it's production is balanced between a sparse and a considerably fuller sound. This is likely to be the last ever recording of it's kind by these three as it was quite an undertaking to get completed and required spanning continents and crossing oceans. Besides that Holly and Dan are relocating to the states and Bruce intends to stay in England to continue working on all sorts of new sordidness with Billy Childish. Desperate Little Town an exciting and remarkable album.
