| I won't get into a content review here other than to say this is the most cohesive and my favorite Banhart album since Nino Rojo/Rejoicing in the Hands. Paul Butler's production is top notch as is the mix and mastering. I've had a digital copy of this since it's release and had been looking forward to the Vinyl. I am very pleased. As of late Warner's has been putting out top shelf vinyl pressings. The last Raconteurs and two most recent Wilco albums are proof. What Will Be on vinyl jumps out from the speakers. The bass is deep, clean and tight. Mids and highs are smooth and even. The stereo mix is perfect and the sound stage is wide with no holes. Much of this is probably do to expert production, but the vinyl presentation makes it shine. I highly recommend picking up the LP. The two vinyl only bonus tracks make it even more worthwhile. | |
