Diane Cluck
Diane Cluck was born in Pennsylvania's Red Rose City.
On her website, http://dianecluck.info, she is gathering subscribers for a fan-funded "Song-of-the-Week" project, in which she'll write and distribute a new song to subscribers every week for six months in 2012.
Diane moved to New York City and began writing songs and performing them publicly in 2000. To date, she has released six albums, including a vinyl release.
Stylistically, her voice has been compared to "the broken coo of an outraged owl or howling bark of a horny dove" (Voodoo-Eros). Her songs have been noted for their "irregular, or even cellular, logic" (Other Music). Her self-taught guitar style is influenced by years of playing the piano.
Past collaborators include Jeffrey Lewis, Herman Düne, Toby Goodshank and CocoRosie....
