2001, Morphius
Morphius Records presents the first installment in the new Morphius Singles series. Up first, THE UNIFORM with the stunning single from their forthcoming “Black and Vain” LP/CD (out Oct. 16th). The A-side is the most unabashedly catchy, hook-filled UNIFORM track to date. Without sacrificing any of the harsh, pointed guitar that they’re known for,THE UNIFORM deliver a near-pop song repleat with ultra catchy keyboards (played by YOUNG PIONEERS, CATHOLIC CHURCH member Marty Violence), a monster vocal hook, and tons of melody. On the flip, THE UNIFORM deliver a twisted, fractured, ‘dub’ version of THE UNIFORM live staple, “AP Hill Paid To Come.” This single is limited to only 300 copies, no represses, and is packaged in a very suave embossed singles jacket.
