Although stylistically, it's just as varied as fans would expect -- including nods to darkwave jungle, experimental techno, electro-techno, even the odd rave soundbyte -- it's not an especially frenetic record. Unlike many of his contemporaries (Squarepusher being the most obvious), Kid606 can float along without resorting to obvious signs that a detour is ahead.
