Jack Oblivian has developed a cult following exploiting everything that makes rock and roll great--raw inept punk, lo-fi blues, distorto pop, rot-gut soul, fuzz-drenched twang. His story started in the '90s as a member of the Compulsive gamblers and The Oblivians, but Yarber has honed his craft on his five solo records since. Disco Outlaw is his first album on Memphis label Goner Records.
