2004, Alone
Hardcore at its finest. Usurp Synapse’s three-plus year lifespan began by creating some of the most chaotic, grinding and sheer mind-fucking post-hardcore that rivaled San Diego’s most cacophonous outfits. This Indianapolis band melded their spastic rhythms and epileptic guitar and vocal cadences into a sound that, during their later works, featured a greater emphasis on sonic elements similar to the doom-esque drone that Neurosis and the VSS. Features their signature disregard for melody and the trappings of neutered emo. "Disinformation Fix" is a collection of the band’s entire catalog, including the out-of-print splits with Jerome’s Dream, Index for Potential Suicide, Rep Seki and Neil Perry, as well as other hard to find compilation tracks and much much more.
