Biowire debuts with a laid back, tripped out electro experiment. Melodic grooves layered with acid and drum and bass rythyms. This is one smooth disc. A great introductory artist to the EWB and UltraWide World.
"Incorporating acid, electro and drum n' bass styles, BIOWIRE is the solo work of Jason Crosse, a member of the ULTRA WIDE BAND COLLECTIVE of Lund, Sweden. Crosse's music first made an impression on the London scene, where notables like LTJ Bukem picked up on the sound, spinning BIOWIRE dub plates for the crowd. The Ultra Wide Band's musical arm, ELECTRONIC WATUSI BOOGALOO then came on board, including BIOWIRE on their introductory compilation "Just Another Taste of Electronic Watusi Boogaloo".
Now "Disparation" is the debut full-length release from the label, incorporating Crosse's many influences of old (and new) like Boards of Canada, Plaid, Autechre, Aphex Twin, Luke Slater, Radiohead, Bjork, LFO, Massive Attack, Hidden Agenda into a piece of beat orientated a
