International hip-hop superstar Nas and award-winning artist Damian "Jr. Gong" Marley join creative forces to release the highly anticipated and exciting collaboration, Distant Relatives. Distant Relatives traces the direct line from dancehall reggae's breakthrough moment forty years ago to the rise of hip-hop several years later. Since first meeting in 1996, Nas and Damian have shared a mutual respect and camaraderie that was most recently showcased on "Road to Zion", a standout track from Damian's critically acclaimed album, Welcome to Jamrock. After having such a positive experience working together in the studio and on the road, the two modern day music legends come together, family reunion style, for a highly anticipated album that combines Marley's long-standing dub rock aesthetic with Nas' signature flow.
