Dog's Blood Rising picks up where Nature Unveiled left off - eerie, disturbing, and powerful. In fact, this album is perhaps the finest example of the experimental side of Current 93, and a major influence on the emerging goth and industrial scenes of the time. Thanks to Stephen Stapleton's simpatico production and arrangements, David's early themes of Christs, crucifixions, Crowleyan madness and perversions are all here at their most violent and loud. Steve Ignorant of Crass is enlisted on vocals, and Simon and Garfunkel's take on 'Scarborough Fair' is dragged through the mire."
