Don't Stop

Sprung from San Francisco's active underground Mission district scene, TUSSLE have been causing a stir for some time now with their unique combination of dance rhythms, elastic basslines, metallic textures, and low-fi electronic experimentation. Referencing dub, disco, post-punk, German electronic music, early NYC schoolyard jams, even minimal techno, their sound lays the cacophony of the urban terrain overtop stripped down, propulsive rhythms to mesmerizing ends. The group recorded this ep with skate legend TOMMY GUERRERO after he saw the group and invited them to come over to his studio one afternoon in October of 2002. This ep features two live staples and two remixes from SOFT PINK TRUTH (Drew Daniel from MATMOS), and STUART ARGABRIGHT (of DOMINATRIX and DEATH COMET CREW Fame). The cd features the "Eye Contact" version that was previously available only on vinyl! In October, the group will embark on a month long tour of Europe with ERASE ERRATA.
