After years of vinyl-only releases for the likes of Tarwater, Fontanelle, Solenoid and Textile Ranch, audraglint has crossed into the digital realm for the first time with The Sems debut album "Drift" though now The Sems are writing and playing as a full 4-piece band, Peter Bogolub himself wrote and played the twelve songs of perfectly crafted fuzz-pop for this audraglint cd release. "Drift" is brimming with classic motifs; lush arrangements roll by, with multi-part harmonies swimming in reverb, guitars that jangle and bend. the resultant sound is more akin to Slowdive, The Clean, or The Pale Saints than the current wave of psych-rock masquerading as "shoe-gaze" with packaging again designed by multifresh.
