The grand theme on this dual-language album, sung in both French and English, is simply love and all the heartbreak, passion, trust and comfort that comes with it. Musically it reflects the broad range of music Francois grew up listening to: his parents' chanson, Serge Gainsbourg and North African albums, as well as a vast indie pop collection owned by his oldest friend, the same one who now lives in view of Morocco's Atlas Mountains.
