An ambitious new release from UNKLE, wherein James Lavelle has compiled a mix of soundtracks from films that have inspired him the most--2001: A Space Odyssey, Scarface, etc.--and then cut and embellished them with original musicianship (guitar and keyboards) and pre-existing Unkle tracks. The result is a new yet familiar montage of sample-heavy electronic/downtempo/chillout. Features guest contributions from Roots Manuva and Richard Ashcroft (The Verve).
