1999, DeSoto Records
Most comfortable record yet from Washington, D.C.'s fabulous Dismemberment Plan. A whole bunch of styles, sounds, and goodness wrapped tight in a package of loud, lush, and beautiful. Part sophisticated synth-pop, part oddball hyperactive guitar rock, part up-tempo Motown, and all emotive and well crafted. Originally recorded for Interscope, the band and their tapes were released during the shake up. But we've got it now, and we're stoked.
