2008, Hawthorne Street Records
LIMITED! Accomplished post-metal, experimental rock monsters, Suicide Note, are back with their first album in four years. Drawing influences and experimental footnotes from legends such as Drive Like Jehu, The VSS, Sonic Youth, and Fugazi, Suicide Note's discordant yet brutal sonic assault that is Empty Rooms was produced by Kurt Ballou (who also makes special appearances throughout the album as second axe-wielder and guest bass-guitarist). Tracked at Gagovcity (a mobile studio set up by Ballou at drummer Gagovski's house outside of Chicago, at which Young Widows also tracked some of their new record), and mixed at Godcity in Salem, MA. Empty Rooms marks the fourth recording the band has done with Ballou dating back to 2000. Limited edition (only 250 made) CD version of the new album. All of the covers are screen printed!
