VINYL FORMAT. Barcelona hardcore quintet OMEGA CINCO traveled to California during the summer of 2002, where they played a handful of shows to pleasantly-surprised audiences at punk mainstays like 924 Gilman and even the "legendary" Pokez Mexican eatery in San Diego. They also got around to recording the four songs found on this EP, though just barely... Fronted by the gravel-throated former E-150 vocalist, Italiano, the band play a steamroller breed of intelligent hardcore informed by the likes of HEROIN, LOS CRUDOS, AT THE DRIVE-IN and THE LOCUST, replete with Spanish lyrics. Originally formed in 1999, OMEGA CINCO solidified a year later and self-released their debut EP on their own Ozono Kids label. In the fall of 2001 the group supported THE LOCUST's Spanish dates and the idea for the group to travel to California and record an album was born. Needless to say, their time here ran out before an album's worth was completed, and consequently this record is five inches smaller than planned.
