Valina, founded in 1995, hail from Austria. Besides being part of the band, each member also holds a place in the political underground and works as an independent promoter, record dealer or librarian. They have released four vinyl singles and two full-lengths. After a successful U.S. tour in Summer 2004, Valina and 54º40' or Fight! agreed to release Valina’s music in the U.S., beginning with this EP. The EP's final track, 'Escort of Soda,' originally appeared on a split 7' with new labelmates Sicbay after the two bands toured Europe together in February 2004. According to Austrian webzine Monochrom, 'Escort of Soda' is the best song Valina has recorded yet!
