The members of San Francisco's ERASE ERRATA played music together for the first time in December of 1999 in Oakland, California. After writing ten songs in a half hour, the chemistry was clear. Emerging was a shaky shared vision, a stumbled-upon equation of organized chaos with a beat. No-wave, new-wave, now-wave, whatever-wave. Their songs are propelled forward on choppy waves of jerky rhythms and guitar lines that wrap their way around your brain like a copper wire.
