Sambassadeur started as the world of DIY's answer ABBA in the year 2003. They lead an explosive Swedish pop movement which achieved overnight indie fame (thanks to the MP3 spreading kids!) and reached the sales charts. The band has flirted with lo-fi indie pop, Velvet Underground and The Jesus and Mary Chain in the past, but with each subsequent album their sound has grown and matured. Their second album Migration was very luxurious sounding - almost dancey - compared to the self-titled debut. On European the transformation is complete. It's the grand, classic, orchestrated album they've always dreamed of making. Sambassadeur are no longer secret stars. This is the extrovert album from Sambassadeur. May it stay with you forever.
