Evil Madness
We are truly dealing with a super group of a kind – behind the disturbing name stand men like Stilluppsteypa, DJ Musician, Jóhann Jóhannsson, BJ Nilsen and occasionally Curver. In happy reunion they bring us dark and diabolic electronic ambience and abstractions, which tend to break into beats. All conveyed on laptops en masse, mixers, analogue synthesizers, and a godawful evil Hammond organ.
The band is by no means trying to hide their love for 70s horror soundtracks by the likes of Italian Goblin and Ennio Morricone, but also Kraftwerk and Aphex Twin-inspired tones pull the record towards modern electro-ambience.
