Ex Norwegian
Ex Norwegian is an indie rock band who formed in Miami Beach, FL in 2008. The band name is a Monty Python reference, and its current line-up consists of Roger Houdaille (vocals and bass guitar), Lucas Queiroz (guitar and vocals), Michelle Grand (vocals) and Alex Ibanez (drums). Previous band members include Nina Souto (bass and vocals) and Arturo Garcia (drums).
Ex Norwegian launched at the CMJ Music Marathon in New York City 2008 mere months after their formation, and released two singles: the irresistible Shins-styled folk-pop “Something Unreal” and the 7” vinyl release “Dance Trance Pants” which falls neatly somewhere in between The Killers and seventies glam epitomized by bands like T.
