Free was the songwriting partner of Jean Beauvoir and co-wrote and co-produced (with Paul Stanley) the classic debut album from Crown Of Thorns that featured Tony Thompson (Chic) on drums.
Micki Free was discovered by Gene Simmons of Kiss and he has worked with Gene and Paul Stanley, Diana Ross, Wendy O Williams (Plasmatics) as well as being a member of Shalamar. He wrote the song 'Don't Get Stopped In Beverley Hills' that appeared on the Beverley Hills Cop soundtrack and has received three Grammy nominations.
Free's new album features a rhythm section of Bam (Bubble / Dogs D'amour / Wildhearts) and Share (Bubble / Vixen / Contraband) and combines Micki's trademark songwriting ala Crown Of Thorns with Blues-Funk Hendrix style guitar pyrotechnics!
