There has been more than one artist known as Fur.
1. FUR began in 2008 as Bryce Isbell's solo effort with the intention of developing into an experimental, poly-collaborative electronic project consisting of Isbell's friends and musical peers.
Before creating music under his Fur moniker, Isbell studied film in Paris, France and it was during this time that he began to develop an understanding for visual and musical composition.
As a solo artist, Isbell kept busy making lo-fi electronic music, releasing Colorful People on Secret Station Records; Witches, Lackadaisical EP, and the Polybreak 7” (feat. Gray St. Germain Gideon & Letherette) on Waaga Records.
