2009, Fabric
As Radio Slave, a name which originally started out as a temporary venture (tongue firmly in cheek) as he attacked remixes for more mainstream focused and radio-friendly tracks, Matt Edwards started off best known for his techy remixes of some of the biggest names in pop (including Talking Heads, Danny Tenaglia, Kylie Minogue, Gwen Stefani and Sir Elton John, to name but a few). Radio Slave's teched-out sound has since managed to find its way into an incomparable globe-spanning career, creating singles, remixes and compilations that are as exploratory as they are accessible. For Fabric 48, Radio Slave has collected a series of tracks including Dance Disorder, Spencer Parker, Nina Kraviz, DJ Boola and Brothers' Vibe.
