Fabric 58: The Nothing Special

Fabric's resident DJ and musical director since the club opened in 1999, Craig Richards returns to the series he inaugurated. Born on the British coast, Craig got hooked on nightclubs before leaving school to spend the '80s attending parties in Los Angeles, New York and London. Just as Acid House fever descended on London, Richards landed a place at the St. Martins School of Art in 1987. After ten years of involvement in the London party scene, Craig founded Tyrant; Tyrant still operates today as a label, a night at Fabric, and a collective. Playing almost weekly since Fabric's opening in 1999, Craig is arguably the most famous club resident. Fabric 58 is a showcase of Craig's The Nothing Special events, where he hand-picks artists to perform live around his DJ sets throughout the night.
