Fangs are from Glasgow Scotland.
Influenced by new wave bands like Blondie, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Siouxsie and the Banshees and The Human League, their style draws from electro, indie, rock and new wave.

Fangs met in Glasgow Scotland early 2008 and released the single ‘S.I.C.K.O.’ on King Tuts Recordings, the label run out of the famous live music venue owned and managed by T In The Park festival promoters DF Concerts.

Fangs have played shows with PUBLIC IMAGE LTD, JUSTICE, SANTIGOLD, THE PRESETS, SONS AND DAUGHTERS and played at the European release of the acclaimed new wave movie KILL YOUR IDOLS.
They’ve Headlined shows in PARIS, BERLIN, LONDON AND BARCELONA as well as UK Festivals T in The Park and BBC Introducing stages at Reading and Leeds.

FANGS were one of the UK bands playing SXSW 2010 in Austin Texas where they caught the attention of French label Platinum Records. Their debut album is due for release summer 2011.
